But it wasn't always that way.

Several years ago, I followed my husband on a new assignment abroad. I left behind my career, my family, my friends, my hobbies, my very identity. I packed up everything and embarked upon a new life.

The first few months of my life in the new country were filled with adventure and discovery. Everything was so new! And so interesting! I was on a high. But then came culture shock.

I found myself sitting in my house, with a view of a beautiful lake outside the window. My friends back home thought I was the luckiest woman alive, and yet, I was miserable. I had no idea what to do with my life. I was lost, bored, and totally adrift.

Before I moved I had an engaging and fulfilling career in adult education. I was confident. I was challenged. My days were full. In my new expat life, I spent my time drinking coffee, reading, shopping and cleaning. My days felt endless and empty.

Moving abroad affected me profoundly. I must confess that I felt dissatisfied, bored, and confused. My support network, my family, my friends, were gone. My job and my professional network were gone. The rhythm of my normal life was gone. And so was my identity.

And then I decided to turn my life around.

Sitting in my beautiful house with my lake view, I realized that I didn't want to spend my days in dissatisfaction, boredom, and confusion. I wanted to feel like I belonged. I wanted to feel that I was appreciated, that I was making a positive contribution to my community. Once I knew what I was looking for, I realised that I had to make a choice to change my life. I had to do the hard work. I had to turn my life around.

Through coaching and introspection I learned more about myself and my reactions to change. I began to understand what I needed to do. I joined a sports club, and began to invite my neighbours over for coffee. I started to volunteer in the community. And my outlook, my attitude, and my life began to shift.

When I saw the amazing benefits coaching brought to my own life, I knew that I wanted to help others. I enrolled in a coaching education program with CoachU, the market leader in coaching education, and a dream was born. I would support other expat partners. I would help them find joy and fulfilment in their new lives abroad. I would help them find success as expat partners.

And now I want to help you.

I'm passionate about coaching. I love what I do! Helping people create success in their lives brings me great joy!

When you work with me, you will leave the sessions with the tools, the energy, and the support that you need to make your expat life fulfilling and positive.

I will challenge you to look beyond your comfort zone while providing a supportive and positive environment to explore unfamiliar areas of your life and being.

Let me inspire you to spread your wings and maximize your personal and professional potential. I can't wait to help you live your best life abroad.
